Fix It Friday #70 - Bows n' Braids

I'm loving Fix-It-Friday's over on the 'I Heart Faces' community page! Come join in ... it's a great way to improve your editing skills, and always fun to compare yours with the others who participate! This week's selection is of an adorable little blond haired girl, add big brown eyes, bows, and braids! For this 'fix', (hopefully, I got all my steps down correctly =\ ... first, I brightened her eyes a bit, adjusted the contrast, then converted it to black and white. I then added a 'coffee' colored layer, adjusted the brightness, and sharpness, finally adding a diffused glow filter over it, and this is the finished product. I Heart Faces Photo Challenge >>Vroom Vroom >>

Another photo challenge is going on this week, over at I Heart Faces ... the theme: 'Vroom-Vroom'!  My entry is of a friend of mine, Miss V.  She has an amazing eye for photography, and, she's a great gal, too! In this image, we were downtown, with a group, for a photo-walk.  Well, when she saw this Mini-Cooper, she figured that posing with one was the next best thing to owning one!  However, I'm not quite sure how much 'VROOM' a Mini-Cooper has ... still, I imagine it gets ya where you're goin'!  To see more fun 'Vroom-Vroom' images, just click the link above to the page, or, the button below ... Fix It Friday - Week of August 27

Yes, I know it's almost a whole week late, and time for the next image to 'fix', but, I thought I'd throw it on anyway!  This is my first go at editing an image for Fix-it-Fridays, and it's been fun working on this one!  Such an adorable young girl, on a summer day, in a country field. There are lots of edits for this one so head on over to click this link> I Heart Faces, and click on any one of the links at the bottom of the page, to see the variety! There are just so many ways to edit an image! I love seeing the differences in them all!




For my edits, there are three, I added three different textures, once I cropped it, worked with the colors, and lightened it up a bit.  Let me know your thoughts on these!  I'm looking forward to working on this next weeks, Fix-it-Friday image, as well!
